1. Run Anti-Spy-ware/Ad-ware programs (at least 1-2 separate programs)

2. Check for
Microsoft Critical Updates (XP/Vista/Windows7)
Click on
Start, > All Programs, > find Windows Update
3. Check your
Antivirus Program for the latest updates or just run updates within
the program. (AVG Free/Norton/McAfee/Trend Micro)

4. Run Disk Cleanup (Start\All
Programs\Accessories\System Tools\Disk Cleanup)
Monthly:
